Poom Guardianis

Iroonilisusega hiilgav The Guardian kommenteeris Mart Poomi siirdumist Londoni Arsenali järgmiselt:

"It has long flummoxed observers as to why Arsène Wenger can't sign a decent goalkeeper. His latest move to fill the chasm between the sticks, well - you decide: it's Mart Poom. Sunderland's Estonian custodian has moved to Highbury on loan until the end of 2005, with the option to extend the agreement."

Minu meelest kumab sellest tekstist läbi seisukoht, et kuigi tahaks Arsenali järjekordse prahiostu eest veidi mõnitada, siis eriti ei julgeta - tippvormis Poomi võimed on Inglismaal hinnas.
